Viviene Pearson has been the CEO of the South African Insurance Association (SAIA) since 2016, following various roles within the organization since 2002. SAIA serves as the trade association for the non-life insurance industry, focusing on solutions to challenges that impact both the industry’s sustainability and the broader South African economy and society. This work is carried out in collaboration with key stakeholders, including government and other industry constituencies.
Viviene also holds several board positions, including serving on the Boards of INSETA, the Ombudsman for Short-Term Insurance, and the Financial Sector Transformation Council. Additionally, she serves as an executive director on the SAIA Board.
