Viviene Pearson is the CEO of the South African Insurance Association (SAIA) since being appointed in this position in 2016 after fulfilling various roles at SAIA since 2002. SAIA is the trade association for the non-life insurance industry and a key focus area of SAIA is to find solutions for challenges that impact both the non-life insurance industry’s sustainability and the sustainability of the broader SA economy and society, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including government and other constituencies. Viviene also serves on the Boards of Inseta, the Ombudsman for Short-term Insurance, the Financial Sector Transformation Council and as executive director on the
SAIA Board.
