New board membership
The board of the Centre of Excellence in Financial Services is sad to announce the resignation of Dr Lumkile Mondi from the board. He joined the board in 2017 and served for a period of eight years, making him the longest serving board member. We wish him well in his future endeavours.
We also take this opportunity to welcome Dr. Chimwemwe Chipeta to the board. He is a Full Professor of Corporate Finance, Head of the Finance Division, and Director of the Wits Fintech Hub at the University of the Witwatersrand. With the global shift to digital his knowledge and experience will be invaluable.
