Leon Campher is the CEO of the Association for Savings and Investment South Africa (ASISA). He played a key role in its formation and was appointed CEO on 1 October 2008. Before ASISA, he was instrumental in establishing the Investment Management Association South Africa (IMASA), where he served as CEO until 2008.

With extensive experience in investments and portfolio management, Mr. Campher previously held various positions at Old Mutual. In 1985, he left Old Mutual to establish Syfrets Managed Assets, where he served as both Portfolio Manager and CEO.

In 1993, he co-founded Coronation, taking on the roles of CEO at Coronation Fund Managers and Executive Director of Coronation Holdings. During his tenure, he was also a founding member of African Harvest and served as a Director of the company.
